According to YouTube official web site, they do support .mov format. However, at times there may be other technical issues that not everyone could understand and resolved easily. Words like encoder, codec….etc. could be hard for a Non-Tech-Savvy person.

Perhaps a better way would be to simply convert our video files to the more accepted format.
